Magnetic torque
 
Magnetic Torque is a torque control unit consist of magnetic hysteresis panel and multipoler magnetic plate, using hysteresis loss occured due to the relative rotative motion.

You can obtain fixed torque unrelated to slides-rpm and direction of rotation, making use of the hysteresis loss which occurs due to the relative rotation of the magnetic hysteresis board and the multipolar magnet board.

Torque can be set at any value with the graduation of the housing section and also repeatability is superior.

No contact part and it enables long-life

Power source and wiring are not needed and installation is simple.

Principle of operation
As picture, magnet torque consists of one piece of disc magnet (1) with 8 pole of magnet and one piece of hysteresis disc (2).
Each position of Disc (2) facing eachy magnet pole of magnet (1) is magnetized to oposite pole by magnetic induction.
When disc(2) and magnet (1) rotate in comparison, each position of disc(2) is magnetized alternately and generates hysteresis loss to be exchanged to heat.
Then hysteresis loss becomes resistant torque corresponding to frictional force that interdict rotation of disc(2).
This resistance torque becomes bigger as distance between disc(2) and magnet(1)becomes narrower.
